About

Project Locréa is a new musical alliance formed between high caliber musicians introducing audiences to the different musical traditions of the world. Combining traditional instruments with western classical and jazz instruments, the project’s focus is on bringing a better understanding and a deeper connection between cultures.

“For the uninitiated, you're in for a treat! Their music is a mélange of different traditions, from Chinese to Latin American to Slavic, reflecting these sublimely talented musicians' far-flung roots.”

Concerts

Project Locréa audiences will experience a virtuoso mix of cultures through the beauty of the traditional music of its members with a non-traditional combination of instruments and sounds from Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China and the United States. The music is performed on a mix of western classical, jazz and traditional instruments including: flute, guitar, vocals, Chinese dulcimer, Azeri tar, Argentine and Brazilian percussion, upright and electric bass.
