ABOUT

“Wonderful music, beautifully played” The Maine Festival

Eugene Jones received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in clarinet performance from the New England Conservatory, and upon graduation was awarded a fellowship to the Berkshire Music Center at Tanglewood. He has performed with the Portland String Quartet, The New England Piano Quartette (Frank Glazer, pianist/music director), the Boston Pro Arte Quartet (members of the Boston Symphony) and was active in the North Carolina and Virginia Visiting Artist programs. An experienced and personable performer, Eugene is comfortable presenting programs for all age levels and artistic environments. Currently Eugene Jones is the clarinet instructor for East Tennessee State University and a founding member of the Paramount Chamber Players.

CONCERTS

Programs spanning the Classical, Romantic and Contemporary repertoire are available for formal concerts. Educational programs and workshops are available upon request and are tailored to the needs of each individual situation.
