ABOUT
Stereo Review called Paul Reisler’s music “reason to believe that there is still real music on this continent.” Best selling author and composer Robert Fritz said “Reisler’s talents are many and his creativity, vast. He is a national treasure.” After 35 years of performing, composing and songwriting as the founder and leader of Trapezoid and Kid Pan Alley, Reisler is still following that wild thread of real music in his projects with his new band.
CONCERTS
Paul Reisler & A Thousand Questions features harmonica master Howard Levy (Flecktones) and vocalist Amy Speace. He also performs solo and duo concerts of his original songs and instrumentals. His new full-length piece for orchestra and narrator, Aesop's Fables, recently premiered at Maestro Lorin Maazel's theatre in Castleton, Virginia.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Paul is one of the foremost songwriting teachers in the country and offers workshops for general audiences in all aspects of songwriting. The band also offers workshops in performance, harmonica, and rhythm and groove.
