CONCERTS

Jazz, Latin, Funk, and R&B fuse together in the Inner Rhythm repertoire. Groove and move with renowned drummer, educator and composer Robert Jospé. His highly skilled and entertaining trio, quartet or quintet, include drums, guitar, piano, sax, bass and percussion. "The band was extremely tight and had wonderful energy on stage. The arrangements were top notch and they tastefully exhibited their chops on straight ahead jazz, Latin grooves, funk, (and) beautiful ballads."

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Enriching the link between music, history and geography, the World Beat Workshop brings to life the journey of clave. Drummer Robert Jospé and percussionist Kevin Davis engage students and teachers in an exciting, interactive musical journey highlighting the diaspora of rhythms from West Africa to the Americas and their influence in today's music.

The Inner Rhythm concert/lecture program explains blues and standard song forms and performs compositions that illustrate how West African rhythms are incorporated into contemporary music.

MASTER CLASSES

Jospé focuses on contemporary rhythmic styles on drum set, hand drums and percussion techniques with an emphasis on grooving and time keeping..
