ABOUT

Long featured on public radio’s A Prairie Home Companion, Robin and Linda Williams are outstanding contemporary artists with musical sensibilities deeply rooted in traditional country, bluegrass and gospel. Their repertoire includes original songs and those gleaned from the rich musical heritage of the Carter Family, Jimmie Rogers and Hank Williams. Robin and Linda showcase their exquisite harmonies and instrumental arrangements with Their Fine Group, which includes Jim Watson on bass and harmony vocals, and a rotating fourth chair on fiddle, mandolin, or dobro.

CONCERTS

Generally, two 45-minute sets with intermission, featuring harmony vocals, acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, and bass. Includes original songs from Robin and Linda's musical, Stonewall Country, written for Lexington, Virginia's Theater at Lime Kiln

RESIDENCIES

A weekday school concert or music workshop of 45 to 60 minutes and an evening concert of two 45-minute sets. Workshop topics include harmony vocals, songwriting, banjo, guitar, bass, and fiddle.
