CONCERTS
An Evening of Opera and Broadway and Encore! programs feature soaring arias and lush Broadway melodies from the world’s greatest composers.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
We offer a variety of exciting and educational productions for K–12 students and communities. Each fully-staged performance includes sets, costumes, and features professional singers accompanied by piano. All Virginia Opera programs feature study guides designed to offer connections with Virginia’s SOL objectives and include SOL related exercises. Examples of past offerings include: Giovanni and the Beanstalk; The Adventures of Pinocchio’s Sister; Alice through the Opera Glass; and Oh, Freedom!
