The Actors Fund -is a human services organization that helps everyone - performers and those behind the scenes –who works in performing arts and entertainment, and serves over 8,000 people annually. Programs include social services, emergency financial assistance, a free health clinic, insurance resources, housing, employment and training and an assisted living and skilled nursing facility.

American Association of School Administrators
AASA is the professional organization for over 14,000 educational leaders across America and in many other countries. AASA’s mission is to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality public education for all children.

American Association of Museums
the American Association of Museums (AAM) is dedicated to promoting excellence within the museum community. Through advocacy, professional education, information exchange, accreditation, and guidance on current professional standards of performance, AAM assists museum staff, boards and volunteers across the country to better serve the public.

The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (Arts Presenters) is the nexus for the performing arts community and the innovators in the field.

Chorus America provides information, publications, conferences, consulting, training programs, surveys, networking, and awards to support choruses in North America.

Council of Chief State School Officers
The CCSSO is a nationwide nonprofit organization composed of public officials who lead departments responsible for elementary & secondary education in the states, the US extra-state jurisdictions, the District of Columbia, and the Department of Defense Educational Activity. In representing the chief education officers, CCSSO works on behalf of state agencies that serve pre K -12 students throughout the nation.

Council for Exceptional Children
CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides continual professional development, advocates for newly and historically under-served individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice. The Council seeks member consensus on major educational issues and expresses their views to civic and professional organizations, federal agencies, Congress, and the public.

Educational Theatre Association

MENC: The National Association for Music Education
Founded in 1907, MENC's membership has grown to nearly 90,000 including active music teachers, university faculty and researchers, college students preparing to be teachers, high school honor society members and MusicFriends.  Formerly Music Educators National Conference, the association's name was changed to MENC: The National Association for Music Education to better reflect its mission -- to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all.

National Assembly of State Arts Agencies
The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) is the membership organization that unites, represents and serves the nation's state and jurisdictional arts agencies. Each of the 56 states and jurisdictions has created an agency to support excellence in and access to the arts.

National Art Education Association
NAEA serves more than 17,000 art educators; early childhood, elementary, intermediate, secondary, college and university, administration, museum education, lifelong learning, as well as publishers, manufacturers and suppliers of art materials, parents, students, retired teachers, arts councils, and schools.

National Association of Elementary School Principals
The mission of NAESP is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle level principals and other education leaders in their commitment to all children.   NAESP has more than 28,500 members throughout the world.

National Association of State Boards of Education
NASBE works to strengthen state leadership in educational policymaking, promote excellence in the education of all students, advocate equality of access to educational opportunity, and assure continued citizen support for public education.

National School Boards Association
NSBA seeks excellence and equity in public education through school board leadership.

Virginia Art Education Association

National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts
NFFA's mission is to identify emerging artists and assist them at critical junctures in their educational and professional developments, and to raise appreciation for, and support of, the arts in American society.  NFAA is supported by individuals, corporations, foundations and philanthropic institutions.   NFFA seeks out artistically accomplished young people throughout the United States and gives them national recognition through cash awards and scholarships.

National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts
The Guild is the national service organization for a diverse constituency of non-profit, non-degree granting institutions located in urban, inner-city, suburban and rural communities throughout the United States.  The mission of the NGCSA is to foster and promote broad access to high quality arts education designed to meet community needs. To that end it provides service, advocacy and leadership for community arts education organizations.  The NGCSA site offers information about how to start a community school.

National PTA
The National Congress of Parents & Teachers (PTA) seeks to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
