2008 Arts Works for Virginia Conference
400 people convened in downtown Richmond for the 2008 Art Works for Virginia conference. Speaker and workshop topics included:
- How the arts have transformed North Adams, Massachusetts

The conference included the annual curators roundtable, meetings of the art and music education supervisors, and advocacy training for new arts advocates. There were roundtable meetings of the heads of the large budget arts organizations, the directors of local arts agencies, development directors of arts organizations, and marketing directors of arts organizations.
