The Virginia Foundation for the Humanities promotes lifelong learning, literacy, and civil public debate for all Virginians.  VFH funds and produces exhibits, conferences & teachers' institutes; book discussion series; film, video & radio programs; and other public programs that draw upon the rich resources of the humanities.   For more information:

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts' Center for Education and Outreach

The CEO offers multiple arts resources, programs, and services to communities and educational institutions throughout Virginia. The museum offers traveling exhibitions, gallery tours, lectures, films and videos, discovery kits, youth and family programs, teacher training and artist workshops. Virginia Arts Presenters

The Virginia Arts Presenters is a nonprofit alliance of performing arts presenters from throughout the Commonwealth. Its goal is to increase the accessibility of high quality arts programming through cooperative bookings, shared programs, and services. The Virginia Arts Presenters books blocks of a wide variety of regional, national, and international artists in many disciplines. The Virginia Arts Presenters holds an annual conference each fall at which its members select artists for major block-bookings, share information, and watch a showcase of performances. Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation

Virginia is a member of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, a nine-state consortium which includes the state arts agencies of Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Foundation's touring program provides partial fee support to the region's presenters to book professional touring companies. In addition, the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation offers programs of interest to artists and arts organizations.   For information contact:
