Biography

Richmond based painter David Bromley is an experienced teaching artist with all age levels, most specifically adult populations. David’s extensive regional exhibition record spans forty years. Currently, he creates semi-abstract oil paintings exploring the relationship between art history and contemporary modernism as a refutation of post-modern isolation from hierarchy. In addition to working in oils, David is skilled in traditional realism, graphic, and cartooning drawing techniques. Most of his cartooning work has involved creative collaborations. His other professional interests include acting and photography. David is an avid cyclist and sheet music collector.
